<p>A correction has been made to section 2 Methods, subsection 2.3 Analyses, paragraph one:</p>
<p>&#x201c;The scorings were used to calculate Proportional Connectance, &#x2018;Impact Risk&#x2019;, &#x2018;Recovery Lag&#x2019; and Total Risk (Table&#xa0;2; Robinson et&#xa0;al., 2013; White et&#xa0;al., 2013: Knights et&#xa0;al., 2013b) estimates, with associated figures and tables, using R (Pedreschi et&#xa0;al., 2019, the code is publicly available at <ext-link ext-link-type="uri" xlink:href="https://github.com/missionatlantic/MissionAtlantic-RISK-Analysis">https://github.com/missionatlantic/MissionAtlantic-RISK-Analysis</ext-link>). Log transformation of the IR scores enabled a better visualisation of ranks (Figure S1). Both sum and mean scores were calculated for each element (i.e. the sum/mean of all linkages connected to each individual sector, pressure or ecosystem component) to identify which sectors and pressures contributed the most risk to the system, and which ecosystem components were most affected (rank ordering). Both the sum and the means were calculated to avoid the methodological bias possible through the use of only one metric. Both metrics provide different but complementary information, and while both are influenced by the number of linkage chains present, the sum is less sensitive&#x201d;.</p>
