<p>2 <bold>Material and methods</bold>, <italic>2.1 Subjects and recruitment, last paragraph</italic>: According to the inclusion and exclusion criteria, this study recruited 21 myopic patients, including 12 males and 9 females.</p>
<p>The corrected sentences appear below:</p>

<p>The authors apologize for this error and state that this does not change the scientific conclusions of the article in any way. The original article has been updated.</p>
